Same signature orange shade, but with new Energy.
That’s the essence of the Houston Dynamo’s 2019 primary kit, an all-orange ensemble with a dynamic sublimated lightning graphic across the jersey, dubbed “the Energy kit” and revealed on Feb. 21. The jerseys are now available for purchase on MLSstore.com.
To do so, the Dynamo enlisted the help of several of H-town’s most creative and recognizable figures from the art and music scenes – as well as Mayor Sylvester Turner, a prominent supporter of La Naranja.
It’s all part of the club’s tribute to its city’s “diverse and vibrant cultural and creative community, from genre-defining musicians to award-winning chefs and mixologists to world-class physicians to world-renowned artists.”
The Texas flag jock tag and two MLS Cup championship stars above the crest remain from past editions of the Dynamo kit; new for 2019 is orange shorts instead of white, and the logo of their new jersey-front partner, the world-renowned MD Anderson Cancer Center.
