AMSTERDAM—Geoff Cameron and suddenly streaking Stoke City notched their third straight Premier League win on Monday night, topping hosts Swansea City 1-0.
The US international worked another solid full shift at right center back, helping the Potters post consecutive shutouts for the first time this EPL season. Cameron & Co. held the Swans to just six shot attempts from inside 25 yards after taking a fourth-minute lead through Bojan Krcic's spot kick.
On the night, Cameron completed 27 of 36 passes, with five clearances and a pair of tackles at the defensive end. The result not only boosted Stoke four rungs to 11th in the table, it gave them consecutive road wins in league play for the first time since December of 2011.
