AT&T Goal of the Week: Week 28
Krisztian Nemeth looks like a good bet to bag his first career AT&T MLS Goal of the Week honor, with the Sporting Kansas City forward holding a solid lead in the Week 28 voting for his rocket in SKC’s 3-1 loss at Orlando City on Sunday.
Nemeth’s goal has taken home 48.46 percent of the vote, 20 percentage points ahead of second-place Seattle Sounders striker Obafemi Martins.
The remaining three contenders are well off the pace, with Chicago Fire forward David Accam sitting in third-place (11.39%), FC Dallas attacker Tesho Akindele in fourth (6.69%) and New England Revolution midfielder Diego Fagundez in fifth (5.33%).
Will Nemeth be able to hang on for his first Goal of the Week win? Or will Martins make a late run and catch the SKC striker? Vote now – the winner will be announced on Friday.
Voting runs until 11:59 pm PT on Thursdays. For complete coverage of the AT&T MLS Goal of the Week – including an archive of all of this season’s nominees and winners – click here.
