AT&T Goal of the Week: Week 13
Earlier this week, the Seattle Sounders and Vancouver Whitecaps learned that their Cascadia Cup rivalry will extend into the 2015-16 CONCACAF Champions League group stage, and as the weekend approaches, it seems they're also dueling over the latest AT&T Goal of the Week award (and the MLS Save of the Week award).
As of Thursday morning, the lovely curler by Seattle’s Marco Pappa holds a four-point lead over Whitecaps midfielder Gershon Koffie and his long-range howitzer, 29.79 percent to 25.32 percent, for the top spot in GOTW.
In an unusually balanced voting spread, Orlando City’s Pedro Ribeiro sits in third place at 16.66 percent heading into the final day, a whisper ahead of Colorado’s Sam Cronin at 16.08 percent, while Chicago Fire Homegrown Harry Shipp is running in fifth at 12.15 percent.
You and your friends have still got time to influence this race. Which goal was your favorite? Vote now – the winner will be announced on Friday.
Voting runs until 11:59 pm PT on Thursdays. For complete coverage of the AT&T MLS Goal of the Week – including an archive of all of this season’s nominees and winners – click here.
