AT&T Goal of the Week: Week 17
Darlington Nagbe inspired the Portland Timbers in their 4-1 victory over the rival Seattle Sounders, and in the days since he's been inspiring AT&T MLS Goal of the Week voters, too.
The Liberian-American midfield dynamo's long-range blast is leading the GOTW race heading into the final day of voting, with 39.1 percent of ballots cast as of Thursday morning.
But the well-oiled Real Salt Lake free kick finished by Olmes Garcia isn't far behind, carrying 31.82 percent and setting up an uncertain finish to the Week 17 poll, which closes late Thursday night.
Chris Wondolowski of the San Jose Earthquakes sits in a distant third place with 14.81 percent, followed by Toronto FC's Jozy Altidore at 7.62 percent and the New York Red Bulls' Bradley Wright-Phillips at 6.65 percent.
