When Chris Wondolowskiannounced that he was going to watch the San Jose Earthquakes match against the Philadelphia Union amongst supporters, you knew it was going to be special. You just didn't know it was going to be this special.
The MLS all-time leading goalscorer was bouncing and yelling with the San Jose Ultras, and he blended right in. And when Jackson Yueill's goal gave the Quakes the first-half lead, Wondo tore off his shirt to celebrate (and no yellow card for it when you're in the stands).
The Earthquakes lost late, with the Union nabbing a 2-1 win. San Jose can still use Wondo's abilities on the field, but he showed his supporter bonafides while serving his red-card suspension, and burnished his legend in Earthquakes lore in the process.
