D.C. United are ready to come back strong in the 2016 season, and for that task they've got a new primary jersey to boast. It's just been released, and here's a look at the front and back:
The main change? The crest, which has been updated to reflect the club's new branding:
The other details reflect city pride. The exterior neck tape depicts D.C. monuments:
And the jock tag reflects the D.C. flag and shape of its territory:
D.C. United will sport this new primary jersey in their first home game, against the Colorado Rapids on Mar. 20 (5 pm ET, ESPN 2, MLS LIVE).
