It was a game full of spectacular goals, but one stood above the rest.
D.C. United defender Taylor Kemp has taken home AT&T Goal of the Week honors thanks to his incredible half-volley against Real Salt Lake.
The goal was just one of 10 in a crazy game between United and RSL but this one was especially stunning. The ball fell to the left back about 25 yards out and he blasted it with his favored-left foot into the upper 90, scorching past Jeff Attinella's outstretched arms.
The goal collected 40.24 percent of the vote, blowing past some quality competition. Pa Modou Kah's goal for the Vancouver Whitecaps finished second with 22.02 percent of the vote.
The Montreal Impact's Ignacio Piatti finished third, collecting 18.67 percent of the ballots while the New York Red Bulls' Bradley Wright-Phillips finished fourth. Kemp's teammate Nick DeLeon finished in fifth.
