The MLS Disciplinary Committee has fined two players and issued a warning to one team following Week 30 of the 2018 MLS regular season.
Piatti simulation/embellishment
Montreal Impact forward Ignacio Piatti has been fined an undisclosed amount after being found guilty of simulation/embellishment in the 11th minute of the Impact's game against New York City FC on Sept. 22.
Fire/Edwards mass confrontation
The Chicago Fire were found to be in violation of the mass confrontation policy during the 88th minute of the Fire’s match against the New England Revolution on Sept. 22 . Chicago has been issued a warning for the club’s first violation of the League’s Policy this season.
In addition, Fire midfielder/defender Raheem Edwards was fined an undisclosed amount for his role in instigating and escalating the mass confrontation incident.
