If you weren't paying attention this week you missed a lot.
There was an Expansion Draft, a Waiver Draft, a Re-Entry Draft (Stage 1 of 2) and a boatload of trades. If you're just kicking back this weekend and trying to get caught up, we have you covered:
(1)TRADE WINDOW OPENS: By our count there were 18 swaps and when you have MLS stars Nat Borchers, Aurelien Collin and Jamison Olave all switching teams, you know it was crazy. But not crazy enough that we didn't keep track of every single one of them in our new offseason Trade Tracker (check it out by clicking here).
(2) EXPANSION DRAFT: 2015 expansion teams Orlando City and New York City FC loaded up on players this past week. See how Wednesday's Expansion Draft went down here. Keep in mind -- five players selected were eventually traded.
(3) WAIVER DRAFT: Just a few hours after the Expansion Draft, all 20 MLS clubs were back on a conference call for the Waiver Draft. Three ex-Chivas USA players found a new home.
(4) RE-ENTRY DRAFT: Some of the league's more senior players who are either out of contract or had their options declined are eligible for the Re-Entry Draft, which is broken up in two stages. Three players had their 2015 options picked up by new teams in Friday's Stage 1 (check out results here). After Stage 2 on Dec. 18, clubs need to make bona fide offers to players selected.
Even after all that you're still not clear about what's going on? Then the 2015 Transactions Page should come in handy.
