TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS: Waived
FC Cincinnati have placed defender Logan Gdula on waivers, the club announced Wednesday.
Gdula, 23, was selected No. 13 overall in the 2019 MLS SuperDraft but didn't make his club debut. He made 15 appearances on loan with Hartford Athletic in 2019. Cincinnati picked up the player's contract option in November.
Cincinnati selected Gdula with the first of five draft selections they acquired from the Philadelphia Union ahead of last year's SuperDraft. Gdula is the second player placed on waivers by Cincy in January, following the departures of former Designated Player Fanendo Adi and goalkeeper Jimmy Hague.
The club are looking to rebound from a difficult first season in MLS, as GM Gerard Nijkamp continues to put his stamp on the roster.
