TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS: Trade
FC Dallas traded Dominique Badji to Nashville SC on Monday, with the expansion side sending $175,000 in 2020 Targeted Allocation Money and $150,000 in 2020 General Allocation Money to FCD to make the deal. Dallas will also receive an additional $75,000 in GAM should the Senegalese striker meet certain performance-based metrics in 2020.
“Dominique is a menace to play against,” said Nashville GM Mike Jacobs in a statement. “Versatile enough to play centrally and on the flanks, his combination of pace, strength and tenacity makes him a constant goal threat.”
Badji scored six goals and three assists in 28 league appearances (24 starts) in 2019, and notched a total of 8g/4a in 38 MLS matches over his year and a half in Texas. He spent the first three-plus years of his MLS career in Colorado, who selected him in the 2015 SuperDraft.
