MLS fans have long admired Kei Kamara for his sartorial flair. (It’s something, he told us year, he drew at least in part from Aurelien Collin!) Now the mainstream fashion world at large is taking notice, too.
This past Wednesday, the New England Revolution striker hit the red carpet at the ESPYs, where he was up for Best MLS Player, against Sebastian Giovinco, Laurent Ciman, and Luis Robles. Giovinco nabbed that win, but only Kamara got another victory—landing on a couple round-ups of best-dressed athletes at the affair.
Both Esquire and the Cut included photos of Kamara among their picks for the best-dressed, with the former complimenting him for bringing “a little street style” to the carpet. Luckily for the Revs and their fans, he’s equally creative and stylish on the pitch.
