Kickoff of Colorado Rapids-NYCFC delayed due to severe weather

Kickoff for Saturday's MLS regular season match between the Colorado Rapids and New York City FC at Dick's Sporting Goods Park was delayed due to thunderstorms around the stadium.

The game, originally scheduled for 9 pm ET, was delayed approximately 30 minutes from the original kickoff time after the storm passed.
