D.C. United midfielder Lamar Neagle has won AT&T Goal of the Week for Week 16, after defeating FC Dallas' Fabian Castillo in the final. The former Seattle Sounders attacker garnered 57 percent of the vote against Castillo.
With the game scoreless in the 20th minute, Luciano Acosta received a throw-in and crossed the ball into the box. Neagle was waiting for it in the perfect spot and re-directed it past Brad Knighton on a volley. United would go on to win the game 2-0.
Neagle previously defeated Toronto FC's Jordan Hamilton and Sporting Kansas City's Dom Dwyer.
