Major League Soccer on Monday unveiled the adidas jersey that MLS’s best will wear when they take on Atletico Madrid in the 2019 MLS All-Star Game presented by Target at Exploria Stadium in Orlando on July 31.
Celebrating MLS’s status as a league of two nations in a style that is authentic to the host city, the 2019 MLS All-Star jersey features an all-over engineered stars and maple graphic on a regal purple base with light purple accents that pay tribute to host club Orlando City SC.
The back neck features a heat transfer execution of the region’s “407” area code, while the premium raised rubber jock tag is a nod to nearby Cape Canaveral and the aerospace industry.
The All-Star jerseys are available for purchase now at MLSstore.com and adidas.com, and will be available at select retail stores in the Orlando area in the coming weeks.
The All-Star Game’s official match ball was also released on Monday, featuring the same panel shape as the league’s regular-season ball but in a white and purple colorway with metallic gold accents.
MLS will host five days of soccer celebrations and free fan experiences during All-Star week, highlighted by a free concert headlined by Prince Royce, open training sessions, a gameday fan activation zone and a variety of entertainment and charitable activities and more throughout Orlando.
The culmination of the week’s events, the MLS All-Star game presented by Target, will be televised on FS1 and UniMás in the U.S., on TSN and TVA Sports in Canada, and in more than 170 countries around the world. Coverage begins on Univision starting at 7 p.m. ET and FOX beginning at 7:30 p.m. ET. Tickets for the 2019 MLS All-Star Game presented by Target are available for purchase at Ticketmaster.com.
