NEW YORK – Major League Soccer Commissioner Don Garber conducted his year-end State of the League event on Tuesday afternoon, utilizing a new format featuring questions from a roundtable of reporters and broadcasters from MLS broadcast partners in New York City.
Fans were able to follow along via live stream on MLSsoccer.com and the MLS YouTube Channel, and submitted questions via social media for Garber and the roundtable to discuss.
The participants included ESPN the Magazine and ESPN.com reporter Doug McIntyre, Fox Sports host Rob Stone, Univision Deportes broadcaster Jorge Perez-Navarro, RDS broadcaster Patrick Leduc and SiriusXM radio host and former MLS goalkeeper Tony Meola.
