– The MLS Disciplinary Committee has found Houston Dynamo forward Alberth Elis guilty of simulation/embellishment. Elis has been issued an undisclosed fine for his actions in the 29th minute of Houston’s match against the Chicago Fire on Aug. 3 (

The MLS Disciplinary Committee has issued an additional game suspension (two games total) and an additional undisclosed fine to LA Galaxy midfielder Efrain Alvarez for violent conduct in the 84th minute of LA’s match against the Portland Timbers on July 27. Alvarez, who initially received a red card for the incident, served his first match suspension on Aug. 3 against Atlanta United. Alvarez will serve his additional game suspension on Aug. 11 against D.C. United (

). The MLS Disciplinary Committee has also issued an additional undisclosed fine to Alvarez for failure to leave the field in a timely manner after receiving his red card in the 84th against the Portland Timbers on July 27 (
