The MLS Disciplinary Committee on Thursday issued one suspension ahead of Week 7 of the 2018 MLS regular season.
Dempsey violent conduct
The MLS Disciplinary Committee has suspended Seattle Sounders forward Clint Dempsey one additional game (two games total) and fined him an undisclosed amount for violent conduct in the 37th minute of Seattle's game against FC Dallas on March 18.
Dempsey, who originally received a red card for the play, served the first game of his suspension during the Sounders' game against the Montreal Impacton March 31. He will serve the second game of his suspension on April 15 against Sporting Kansas City. Additionally, Dempsey has been fined an undisclosed amount for visual dissent.
