Defensive displays and clean sheets ruled the day as Real Salt Lake and Sporting Kansas City played to a 0-0 draw at the Visit Tucson Sun Cup.
Both sides searched for goals throughout the match, though the busier half proved to be the second. The likes of SKC's Johnny Russell and Alan Pulido found opportunities to break the deadlock, but perhaps the busiest player of the night was RSL goalkeeper David Ochoa, a halftime substitute. He stopped all that came at him, leaving his side with a clean sheet.
The draw opens RSL's preseason fixtures, while the result marks SKC's second in a row at the start of preseason.
