Major League Soccer has 38 new players after Thursday's SuperDraft. So, who are these new potential stars? It may take years to truly find out - think Chance Myers, who didn't really blossom until 2011 despite being the No. 1 overall pick in 2008.
For now, though, here some facts to help you get to know these players better before the 2013 season begins.
The 38 draftees come from six different countries: Cameroon, Canada, Ghana, The Gambia, Jamaica and the United States.
-Toronto FC opted to stick within their country and selected Canadians Emery Welshman and Kyle Bekker as their two draft picks.

21 states were represented in the draft, along with two Canadian provinces, Ontario and Saskatchewan.

-Texas and Ontario both had 3 players - Georgetown University and the University of Louisville produced the most draftees with 3 each.

All seven players with Generation adidas contracts were selected within the first 14 picks of the draft.

Of the 38 draftees, there are 11 forwards, 11 defenders, 14 midfielders and 2 goalkeepers.

The average age of the players in the draft is 21.32 years old; 15 players aged 21 were selected and 15 players aged 22 were selected.
-The oldest players drafted are Dylan-Tucker Gagnes (POR) and Stephen Okai (PHI) who are both 23.
-The youngest player drafted is high-schooler Kekuta Manneh (VAN) who is 18. -
The average weight of the players is 172 pounds.
-The heaviest player selected is Luis Soffner (NE) at 210 pounds.
-The lightest players drafted are Manneh (VAN) and Greg Cochrane (LA) both weighing in at 140 pounds. -
The average height of the players is 6’0”.
-The tallest player drafted is Soffner (NE) at 6-foot-4.
-The shortest player drafted is Yazid Atouba Emane (CHI) who is 5-foot-6.
