When the New York Red Bulls were awarded a penalty kick in the 20th minute of their Eastern Conference Semifinal second leg, they had the Montreal Impact right where they wanted them.
But Montreal Impact goalkeeper Evan Bush wasn't cooperating.
Arguably the hottest netminder in the Audi 2016 MLS Cup Playoffs, Bush stopped the penalty kick attempt by New York's Sacha Kljestan, which could have momentarily tied the series on aggregate goals.
The play ultimately proved to be the turning point of the match as Bush and the Impact went on to win the match 2-1 and advance to their first-ever Eastern Conference Championship, where they will face either Toronto FC or NYCFC for the right to go to MLS Cup.
