Two veteran defenders were re-signed Friday by their 2015 clubs.
The Montreal Impact announced that they have come to terms on a new deal with Hassoun Camara, while the Vancouver Whitecaps announced they had signed Pa Modou Kah to a one-year extension.
Per MLS and club policy, additional terms of the deals were not disclosed.
"We are very happy to have come to terms with Hassoun," Impact technical director Adam Braz said in a statement. "Hassoun is one of the more experienced players on the team and we are happy that he will continue to provide leadership and continuity within our group."
Camara, 31, agreed to a new deal in principle Thursday, when he removed his name from the list of eligible players for Friday's Re-Entry Draft, after the club initially declined his option last week.
In 89 MLS games with Montreal, the versatile defender scored five goals and added six assists in more than 7,000 minutes played. He helped the club win two Canadian Championships and make two playoff appearances along the way.

Kah’s extension, making him ineligible for Friday’s Re-Entry Draft, keeps him in Vancouver for another year after he joined the club ahead of the 2015 season. Kah, a 6-foot-1 center back, started in 10 of Vancouver’s 13 league shutouts and led Whitecaps defenders with three goals. He started in 25 of his 26 appearances across all competitions.
“We’re very pleased to bring Pa back,” Whitecaps FC head coach Carl Robinson said in a statement. “The experience and mentorship he provides is of great value to our young group of players. He is a natural leader both on and off the field.”

Prior to joining Vancouver, Kah made 47 appearances in all competitions during two seasons with Portland Timbers.
