The Montreal Impact will look to bounce back from a heavy home loss on Saturday when they host a shorthanded Seattle Sounders side in the opening of an abbreviated Week 15 of the regular season Wednesday night at Stade Saputo.
The Impact (7-7-3) couldn't build momentum off a midweek home win over Real Salt Lake and fell to Orlando City SC, 3-0, at home Saturday. Nani opened the scoring from the penalty spot and Tesho Akindele and Will Johnson followed in quick succession to give the Lions a 3-0 halftime advantage.
The Sounders (7-3-5) are looking to stop a three-match winless streak in which they've lost back-to-back games, including a 2-1 defeat at FC Dallas Saturday. Own goals by Xavier Arreaga and Brad Smith put the hosts in front, 2-0, before Raul Ruidiaz pulled the Sounders to within a goal in the 65th minute.
