With some bold new moves during the off-season, New York City FC is returning in 2016 with a bold look on the field, too. The team released a new design for its secondary jersey on Wednesday, and it features a daring pattern and a much deeper blue than the team's primary look.

The first thing you'll notice is the ripple pattern, inspired by the energy of the five boroughs. At the center of all this movement is the crest:
On the interior neck tape, there's another reminder of all that:

You can catch the team in this new jersey on the opening day of the MLS regular season, Mar. 6, when NYCFC head to Chicago to face the Fire (2 p.m. ET, MLS LIVE).
