The New York Red Bulls go into 2016 looking very similar to the side that claimed the Supporters' Shield last year, but the new group will stand out in one obvious way: the new away shirt unveiled on Saturday.
The club pays homage to its original iteration with the most obvious MetroStars inspiration coming via the neck tape, with its black and red bars and the "Est. 1996" text:
The other obvious feature of the new jersey is the prominent display of yellow, one of the club's away colors, particularly on the sleeves. Here's a closeup of how the MLS crest looks on them:
