TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS: Roster Update

Minnesota United and forward Angelo Rodriguez have mutually agreed to part ways, the club announced Friday. The Loons exercised an offseason Buyout of a Guaranteed Contract.
The move ends Rodriguez's time in Minnesota after the player joined the club as a Designated Player during the 2018 season.

After a club-record season for Minnesota United in 2019, the Loons are ringing in changes for 2020. And another Designated Player might be on his way out.
According to Colombian radio station El Corrillo de Mao and Pioneer Press' Andy Greder, Minnesota's Angelo Rodriguez is heading to Deportivo Cali.
UPDATE, 4:46 pm ET: Source tells MLSsoccer.com that Rodriguez's impending exit will not be on loan.
Rodriguez, 30, joined Minnesota during the 2018 season as a DP after firing in goals for Deportes Tolima in Colombia. It never quite worked out in MLS for Rodriguez, with nine goals and three assists across 39 MLS appearances.
Earlier this offseason, the club traded their first-ever DP Darwin Quintero to the Houston Dynamo and were unable to bring back Vito Mannone, 2019 MLS Goalkeeper of the Year. They've added Tyler Miller, Jacori Hayes and others this offseason, though are linked with a number of key additions.
Minnesota are rumored to be chasing Boca Juniors midfielder Emanuel Reynoso and Paraguayan forward Luis Amarilla.
