“One Nation. One Team.”
Long the rallying cry of US Soccer, the slogan was tweaked by the federation in the wake of Sunday's horrific mass shooting in Orlando. On Wednesday, USSF released a joint statement from the USMNT and USWNT and a video featuring men’s players expressing a new, “One Nation” tagline.
The USMNT is currently in Seattle ahead of Thursday’s Copa America Centenario quarterfinal against Ecuador (9:30 pm ET; FS1, UniMas, UDN). The USWNT is not currently in camp.
