After helping lead Guyana to their first-ever Concacaf Gold Cup, Philadelphia Union midfielder Warren Creavalle will miss out on the tournament after suffering a broken foot in training, Union head coach Jim Curtin announced Tuesday.
The injury occurred while with the national team and he is expected to miss two to four weeks.
Creavalle, 28, has made six appearances (two starts) for the Eastern Conference-leading Union this season. Philadelphia acquired the midfielder in 2015 from Toronto FC and he has made 68 appearances (36 starts) in his Philly career.
He has made four appearances for the Guyana national team since his debut in 2016.
