Think about the best week you've ever had.
It probably involved a wedding, a birth of a child or winning something. Well Portland Timbers star Darlington Nagbe has accomplished two of those feats in just one week.
On Sunday, the 25-year-old put in a sterling performance in the midfield as the Timbers captured their first trophy since joining MLS back in 2011.
Nagbe was the Timbers' first SuperDraft pick back in 2011, as he went No. 2 overall to the Timbers after the Vancouver Whitecaps selected Omar Salgado at No. 1.
His position switch from the right wing to the center of midfield was the catalyst to the Timbers' run to MLS Cup and their victory over Columbus Crew SC.
His wife, Felicia, was unable to make the trip to Columbus to attend the game due to the fact that she was pregnant with the couple's second child.
On Wednesday, the couple welcomed baby Kingston into the world.
