A pair of D.C. United players are headed to English Premier League club Swansea City for an offseason training stint, according to the Washington Post’s Steve Goff.
Goff tweeted on Friday morning that D.C. forward Patrick Mullins and defender Jalen Robinson will spend a few weeks with the Welsh club, which is co-owned by D.C. United managing general owner Jason Levien.
Mullins, 25, recorded five goals in 20 regular season appearances with D.C. in 2017. A D.C. United academy product, Robinson, 23, made seven appearances for the club.
