TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS: Report
Pablo Aranguiz was supposed to be the playmaker who would eventually assume Mauro Diaz's mantle for FC Dallas.
But a full year and 20 games into his MLS career, the 22-year-old Chilean is struggling to make an impact and now, could be on his way out.
Dallas-based reporter Jon Arnold first reported Aranguiz was being held out of training on Thursday, due to a possible move.
Then FC Dallas news site 3rd Degree reported that Aranguiz had reportedly told other players he's been "sold back to Chile."
Aranguiz has not registered a goal or assist over the last two seasons, in less than 1,000 minutes of play. The Chilean youth international has yet to really break through under two head coaches at FC Dallas since joining from Union Espanola in the summer of 2018.
