TRANSFER TRACKER REPORT: Report
There is interest from "big" European teams for New York Red Bulls right back Michael Amir Murillo, according to a published report out of Panama.
The 22-year-old competed for Panama at the World Cup, starting for Los Canaleros against Belgium and England. The result has been interest from several teams in Europe as well as one offer from an undisclosed team that was rejected, El Siglo reported.
Reportedly PSV Eindhoven is one team that is expressing interest in Murillo, who has two years left on his contract.
Murillo, who arrived on loan from San Francisco in his native Panama, has been a regular starter in each of the last two years, starting 22 of 24 regular season matches he’s appeared in and all three of the Red Bulls playoff games a year ago.
Murillo, who is one of three Red Bulls players selected to the 2018 MLS All-Star Game presented by Target, has made 23 appearances for Panama since his debut in 2016.
