TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS:Reports
It appears FC Dallas midfielder Pablo Aranguiz will be heading back to Chile again this season, though not to his boyhood club.
Reports out of Chile have the 22-year-old set for a year-long loan to Universidad de Chile, which finished third from bottom in the Chilelan top flight in 2019. (The season was shortened because of safety concerns due to political unrest.)
Aranguiz, who at one time was envisoned as the replacement for former FCD attacking maestro Mauro Diaz, never seemed to settle in Frisco and departed on a half-season loan back to former club Union Espanola last July.
He failed to score in 20 MLS appearances over two seasons, and also has not hit the net in Chile since his return. He previously had 11 career league goals for Union Espanola.
