From their name and location to the recreational proclivities of some fans, the Seattle Sounders carry some extensive nautical ties. And New England Revolution star Kelyn Rowe has "row" in his name (like "row your boat," get it?).
So why not throw Rowe, a Seattle native, and the Sounders duo of Cristian Roldan and Jordan Morris in a seagoing vessel and have them shoot the breeze while they're all in Southern California together for the US national team's January camp?
That appears to be the thinking behind #TheRoweBoat, a new video feature from US Soccer that advertises itself as the first in a series, and also appears to rely heavily on the simple but powerful reality that dressing professional soccer players in amateur boating gear is funny.
The trio chops it about bromances, dogs, hypothetical musical careers and more, all while sailing the salty seas of SoCal ... sort of.
