It's easy for players to go over to supporters and chat after a win.
But after a loss, it's harder to acknowledge those in attendance – especially on the road. Traveling to see the team play, only to drop the game, is a disappointment for many and they often aren't afraid to let those players know.
Yet Sacha Kljestan not only acknowledged the New York Red Bulls supporters in attendance at Dick's Sporting Goods Park on Saturday after their 2-1 loss to the Colorado Rapids, but also apologized to those in attendance.
New York-based blog Empire of Soccer has the story and video of Kljestan making his apology and assuring the fans, "It's going to be alright" after the team's rocky start to 2016.
