With the 2018 MLS season fast approaching, the San Jose Earthquakes unveiled their new secondary jersey on Sunday.
An "SJ74" patch on the bottom left commemorates the inaugural season of Quakes soccer back in the club's NASL days. And the sublimated gray print features the Quakes' iconic impact pattern representing fault lines.
And the Navy Seal Foundation patch is in tribute to a unique fundraising effort, in which 5% of each jersey sold at the Quakes Team Store will be donated to the foundation. The Quakes are the first team in MLS history to have a portion of their jersey revenue benefit a nonprofit.
Of course, if you can't get to the Quakes Team Store, you can always purchase your own at the MLS Store.
