Revolution head coach Brad Friedel told MLSsoccer.com on Wednesday afternoon that any assertion that he doesn't rate Nemeth is "categorically" untrue and that he considers the Hungarian a "good player." He declined to comment on MLSsoccer.com's reporting that New England have offered Nemeth to multiple teams in the last two weeks.

The New England Revolution have offered forward Krisztian Nemeth to multiple teams over the past two weeks, sources have told MLSsoccer.com.
The Revs acquired Nemeth last August, sending $200,000 in 2018 Targeted Allocation Money, $200,000 in 2018 General Allocation Money and a 2018 international spot to Columbus Crew SC in exchange for the forward, who was just returning to MLS after 18 months with Qatari club Al-Gharafa SC.
New England used TAM to sign the 29-year-old, who had one goal and one assist in six MLS appearances last season. He was initially expected to play a significant role for the Revs this season, but he was on the bench and didn’t play in the club’s season-opening loss at Philadelphia last Saturday.
They’ve offered him to several teams, but the sources said New England could have a hard time unloading Nemeth unless the Revs are willing to eat a portion of his $1 million 2018 salary.
Nemeth initially moved to MLS in 2015 when he signed with Sporting Kansas City. He tallied 10 goals and six assists in 28 regular season appearances and 23 starts before SKC sold him to Al-Gharafa for a reported $3 million transfer fee in January 2016.
Of note is that the Revs are willing to shop Nemeth while attacking midfielder Lee Nguyen's trade request was denied this offseason. Nguyen was a brief preseason holdout before eventually returning to camp, but was not in the 18-man roster for New England's season opener.
