Dom Dwyer is back.
After breaking out of his early season slump with three goals in his last five games, the Sporting Kansas City forward picked up another accolade on Friday, taking home the Week 12 AT&T Goal of the Week honors for his skillful strike in SKC's 4-2 win against the New England Revolution.
Dwyer's incredible chest-trap, turn and volley to pull Sporting level in the first half of their eventual win over the Revs took home 35.52 percent of the vote, edging out a thunderous strike from Toronto FC's Sebastian Giovinco by five percentage points.
This marks the second time a Sporting KC player has won Goal of the Week in 2015 after Benny Feilhaber took home the honors in Week 8.
