Dom Dwyer's magical year for Sporting Kansas City continues. He has become an integral part of Sporting's attack. He is a major contender in the Budweiser Golden Boot race, with 10 goals on the season.
And this week, he was named the Etihad Airways Player of the Month for May, as voted by fans on MLSsoccer.com.
Dwyer had a wildly productive May, scoring six goals in seven matches. He is now currently second in the league in goals scored, behind only the New York Red Bulls' Bradley Wright-Phillips.
Behind Dwyer in the POTM voting was Seattle Sounders forward Obafemi Martins and D.C. United's Fabian Espindola.
Sporting KC and Dwyer will be in action again on Friday night away to the Houston Dynamo (8:30 pm ET, watch on MLS LIVE).
