Franco Jara made his first Team of the Week presented by Audi in Week 12 after scoring his first career MLS brace for FC Dallas. The rest of the selection is a group overflowing with MLS experience.
Vancouver's Fredy Montero and Portland's Diego Valeri both turned back the clock with vintage performances that led teams to their respective victories in Week 12. Nicolas Lodeiro, Haris Medunjanin, Jonathan Mensah, Maxime Chanot and Nick Hagglund are also starters on the squad who are in at least their fourth MLS seasons, as are bench choices Sean Johnson, Diego Chara and Brek Shea.
Week 12 consisted of the 16 matches played between Sept. 16-20 of the 2020 MLS Regular Season.
