Decision Day presented by AT&T promised fireworks, and it did not disappoint, something reflected in the Team of the Week presented by Audi.
Among the highlights were the New York Red Bulls surging past Atlanta United in the standings to capture the Supporters' Shield, Columbus Crew SC officially booking their ticket to the Audi 2018 MLS Cup Playoffs with a shootout win, and the Houston Dynamoknocking off the LA Galaxy, preventing the California side from booking their ticket to the postseason in the process.
Audi Player Index Spotlight
This week's spotlight player is Columbus forward Gyasi Zardes, who scored a hat trick in a 3-2 win over Minnesota United. The showing garnered him the Audi Player Index Performance of the Week, after earning 1,541 points, best in MLS.
In addition to his goals, Zardes completed a take-on, won six aerials and completed 11 passes in the final third.
