Earlier this week ESPN's Taylor Twellman mentioned Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez as a possible MLS target in the summer transfer window.
Now we know one potential destination, according to a local report from Orlando: Apparently the Lions are in the running for Chicharito's signature.
On Tuesday David Pingalore, WKMG-TV Local 6's sports director, reported that the Mexican star and Orlando City SC have been in talks for weeks with a source telling Pingalore that "there is a 65 to 70 percent chance of Orlando City signing him in the coming weeks."

The 27-year-old Hernandez played on Orlando City's home field just last Saturday night with the Mexican national team. He scored the equalizer in a 2-2 draw against Costa Rica at the Citrus Bowl.
Chicharito spent the 2014-15 season on loan with Real Madrid from Manchester United, scoring nine goals in a total of 35 appearances. Hernandez has already scored 40 goals with the Mexican national team, only six behind Jared Borgetti, the nation's all-time leading scorer.
He will be taking part in Mexico's upcoming campaign in the CONCACAF Gold Cup which kicks off with a match against Cuba on July 9 at Soldier Field in Chicago. El Tri, who are six-time champs, are one of the favorites to hoist the trophy in Philadelphia.
The Lions are currently carrying their maximum allotment of three Designated Players with Kaká, Carlos Rivas and Bryan Rochez. But Twellman suggested on Monday that MLS may be considering a new signing mechanism to court high-profile talent like Chicharito and his Mexico teammate Giovani Dos Santos, another recurring subject of MLS transfer speculation.
