Not much was at stake between two sides that were already knocked out of the Copa America Centenario, but Uruguay made sure to end their tournament on a high note nonetheless.
Uruguay cruised to a 3-0 win over fellow eliminated nation Jamaica in their Group C finale at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California, on Monday night. Abel Hernandez scored the decisive goal 21 minutes in, and a Je-Vaugh Watson own goal and Mathias Corujo strike in the second half made the scoreline more one-sided.
Barcelona striker Luis Suarez was once again on the bench for Uruguay, but did not make an appearance and finished the tournament without playing a single minute.
The victory saw Uruguay finish in third place of Group C with three points while Jamaica came in fourth with zero points.

- STRONG FINISH: Monday's scoreline between the two eliminated sides reflected just how much better Uruguay were in the match. The Uruguayans outshot Jamaica, 16-9, and looked the much more dangerous side even without the world-class Luis Suarez on the field.
- TOURNAMENT WOES: Jamaica have participated in their first two Copa Americas during these past couple of years, but have not had a particularly enjoyable time. The Reggae Boyz have lost all six of their matches in the competition, and have failed to score a single goal while conceding six.
- SLOWING DOWN THE OPPOSITION: It certainly was not a match to remember for any Jamaican, but Reggae Boyz's starting goalkeeper and Philadelphia Union player Andre Blake helped to make sure the loss was not uglier than it could have been. Blake made five saves in the game.
