Groups were set for the next stage of the 2018 Concacaf Under-20 Championship on Monday, and the US U-20 men will join Costa Rica and Honduras in Group G, where they'll do battle for two places in the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
The US kicks off round robin play against Los Ticos on Friday, Nov. 16 at 7:30 pm ET from the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. They'll then face Honduras on Monday, Nov. 19 at 8 pm ET.
Following an initial 34-team group stage – during which the US topped Group A with a perfect record – the six group winners have been divided again for the qualification stage. The winners and second-place finishers from the two remaining groups will all qualify for the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Poland.
Group H consists of Mexico, Panama and El Salvador. The winners of Group G and Group H will meet to determine the regional champion on Wednesday, Nov. 21.
