TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS: Signing
The Vancouver Whitecaps have signed 2019 SuperDraft selection Brendan McDonough, the club announced Wednesday. McDonough was picked in the 2nd round (No. 35 overall) by Vancouver.
McDonough, 22, made 63 appearances in four years at Georgetown University where the two-year captain helped guide his program to three Big East Tournament titles.
“We’re pleased with the progress of Brendan,” said Whitecaps FC head coach Marc Dos Santos. “He’s shown well during preseason and while training with us. We’ll continue to work with him, he will also be involved with the development squad, and we’ll evaluate his progression over the coming months.”
