AT&T Goal of the Week: Week 25
With several jaw-dropping finishes hitting nets across the league, it was a challenge just to narrow the field for AT&T MLS Goal of the Week to five finalists -- but that sets up a fierce contest for top honors in Week 25.
New England midfielder Kelyn Rowe is nominated for his strike from way, way downtown in the Revolution's 3-0 thumping of Toronto FC, while Robbie Keane's majestic chip in the LA Galaxy's Sunday-evening rout of Chivas USA is a highly deserving candidate. His teammate Gyasi Zardes is also in the running for the fine team goal he capped with an empty-net finish on Sunday.
Clint Dempsey's flying corner-kick volley from the Seattle Sounders' 1-0 defeat of Colorado looks like a strong contender as well, as does the twinkle-toed run and finish by Montreal Impact newcomer Ignacio Piatti.
Which one should wear the Week 25 crown? Make your pick for the week's best goal by casting a ballot for your favorite goal before voting ends! The winner is determined by the total number of votes cast online and will be announced on Friday.
Voting runs until 11:59 pm PT on Thursdays. For complete coverage of the AT&T MLS Goal of the Week — including an archive of all of this season's nominees and winners — click here.
