HIGUAÍN BROTHERS BECOME LATEST TO FEATURE ON SAME MLS CLUB
The acquisition of Federico Higuaín by Inter Miami CF to join his brother Gonzalo on the expansion club has added another set of brothers to appear as teammates on the same MLS team.
The Higuaín brothers are now the 18th set of brothers to be members of the same team in league history. In all, there are four sets of brothers currently on the same team in the league: Cristian and Alex Roldan (Seattle Sounders FC); Diego and Yimmi Chará (Portland Timbers); and Gabriel and Nicholas Slonina (Chicago Fire FC).
Earlier this season, when the Roldan brothers and the Chará brothers all appeared together in the Seattle-Portland game on Sept. 23 at Providence Park, it marked the first time in MLS history two sets of brothers faced off against each other in the same match.

RED BULLS’ CADEN CLARK MAKES HIS MLS DEBUT ONE FOR THE BOOKS
Caden Clark of the New York Red Bulls certainly made his professional debut one for the record books. Mere hours after he was signed by the club last Saturday, Clark was put into the lineup for his club’s match vs. Atlanta United at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Clark became the fifth-youngest player in MLS history to score a goal in his first league match, the sixth under the age of 18. Clark moved ahead of teammate Ben Mines, who was the last player to score on his MLS debut, when he did it for the Red Bulls on March 10, 2018 vs. Portland.
