Orlando City SC midfielder Brek Shea grew up in Texas – not exactly the Deep South, but the state is home to a NASCAR track and a lot of wide-open highways. So you'd expect him to have a bit of an in, going into the latest episode of What 'Cha Got, presented by Continental Tire ... right?
Maybe. Maybe not. Shea is more of an outdoorsman than the racin' type. Off-road is his forte – but driving around a track? Well, as he lets on in the episode, he does have some Mario Kart experience from back in the day.
This isn't onscreen driving, though. What 'Cha Got is an full-on, three-dimensional, tire-squealing contest among MLS players and personalities, who compete by conference – East and West, just like in the league. The challenge: Getting behind the wheel of a super car and getting around the course faster than everybody else. The reward: Winner gets to keep the car for a year.
