- Salt Lake lost to Portland and failed to clinch a spot.
- Portland's win clinched a top-four seed in the Western Conference. Portland will host their first playoff match.
- Montréal avoided elimination by defeating Houston.
- Atlanta tied with New York. Both teams failed to clinch.
- Philadelphia and Nashville clinched a top-four seed in the Eastern Conference because Atlanta-New York tied. Both teams (along with New England) will host their first playoff match.
